Yesterday's rhetoric from Trump did little to convince markets/anyone that the Middle East war is ending anytime soon, saying nothing to support his own recent comments that it might. Cue some softer risk tones, USD demand and rising oil prices. As I've said previously the jury will remain firmly out amid all the confusion and in any case the fallout from this whole sorry saga will linger for a long while to come.
